[Misc] Riso GD7330 O365 Scan to Email going to Junk Folder

    Hi All

I'm hoping you can assist me with a scan to email issue on a Riso GD7330 device. The customer has just changed email provider to Office365. The customer has a multi fleet environment and to begin with all scans from all MFD's was being delivered to the junk folder.

To get around this issue on the other MFD's (Sharp & Lexmark) I put the reply email address in <>, eg <scans@customer.org> within the devices web browser. This fixed the problem on all the MFD's apart from the Riso.

When I tried this on the Riso it wouldn't accept it as a valid email address so I couldn't save it on the Riso web browser

Has anyone else come across this issue before & know of a workaround/fix?

Any help will be gratefully appreciated

    Thank You

You can use rule on Office 365 or option Junk = Not Junk. (right click on email)

      Hi Drivee

Thanks for your reply, I have mentioned this as an option already & they have dismissed this, due to the size of the organisation.

I'm looking for more of a workaround from the device/backend for this issue.

I think that this don't have anything with device, it is Office 365. So IT need to mark that email address as not junk for whole users. Maybe I am wrong but I had a cause like that and IT fix a problem.

You are correct, it is an O365 issue. I'm just hoping there is a quick fix/workaround for it

          Thanks

You might want to read this Microsoft support document on scanning email to Office 365. How to set up a multifunction device or application to send email using Microsoft 365 or Office 365 | Microsoft Docs
