I have a riso 3770. I took out the drum and close the carrier. Now I cannot unlock and open the carriage to put the drum back in.

What to do.
If you look underneath the carriage you will see a slit in the body of the machine. There are two screws on the front of the plate and the plate can be taken off. You do not need to but can if you want to. There is a lock solenoid behind that plate. I use a standard scewdriver, stick it in the slit and move the locking lever to the right. While doing that pull on the carriage and it will come right out. have a nice friday.
