Riso gr3750 feed table rising:

I'm running envelopes.
Every time I remove the stock from the feed tray the table raises to the top. I have to hold the green paper tray button just under the plate waste cassette to lower the feed table back to the bottom. What's going on here? How can I fix it?

Hi.

There is a sensor in the middle of your paper tray! It is either dirty or defective clean it, it does not know when you take the paper out or when it runs out of paper. The reason the tray moves up is because it has an upper limit sensor that the tray moves to for feeding so when you take the paper out it moves up to make that switch again.

My Riso GR3750 is not lifing paper tray.I have checked the sensors but i can only see the bottom one the upper one which limit the tray up wards i cant see it,where is it ?please help me.I am still waiting for that manual,you can email it to nrsmoyo@yahoo.com

Tray not rising

Hi Dimpo,

I had a similar problem on a GR3750. Check under the tray to see if thebar that swings is in the right position. Sometimes when you lift the tray and put it back down the bar moves.
