    Ink Cartridge Removal Problem

I have a medium blue drum for my FR Riso. I can't get the ink cart out. Tried pillars too and it does not budge. Any ideas, suggestions on removing it.

    Thanks.

Step one. Insert grenade onto empty cartridge.
Step two. Use super glue to fix a cover to the ink cartridge.
Step three. Stand well back after pulling the grenade pin.
    LOL

Couldn't resist that one but seriously I think you may end up dismantling the drum.

Dont be afraid to use a bigger pair of pliers.Use your feet to hold the drum and pull like hell...it will come out.The bottle has swollen up on the end.Been there and done that.

I usually ram a screw driver all the way thru the end of the cartridge. This then acts as a handle.
I haven't failed once doing it like this.

There really is no easy way to get this ink out. It will come out if pulled on hard enough. We would take the drum body off an some one would use a screw driver and hammer and hit the end while another tech pulled with pliers. What a pain. Good luck with the amazing growing ink tube. p.s. the grenade solution would be the fastest way to get the ink out
