[Jamming] GR3770 - paper feeding disabled? - 'paper jam' message

When trying to print, GR3770 'paper feeding mechanism seems disabled; also I have to manually take out the drums; drum release button not working; are these two related? any ideas how I can resolve this? (I understand that GR3770 was working fine until wrong drum was put inside the GR3770). Thanks,

Is the table all the way up when it tries to print? Are the feed tires turning? If not then the feed table upper limit sensor below the green normal/cardstock lever is knocked out of place.

The green drum release button light will burn out. What type of drum was installed or will it rotate at all or in test mode? Might have blown a fuse or board.

The feeding table is all the way up when trying to print; and goes up and down as necessary (as it normally did). The feed tires are NOT turning, but there doesn't seem to be anything 'wrong' with the feeding side parts.

The green drum light will come on, when front door is open; it just doesn't release the drum automatically although it blinks as if it completed its part of the deal. I have to pull the drum out by pressing the lever below the drum.

This whole happened with the one incident of putting a WRONG OLDER DRUM. Seem very unrelated areas but can there be something 'knocked out of place' by wrong drum that can cause both problems - feeding and drum release?

      Thanks,

Check the fuses on the power supply. I had a problem once due to the feed clutch that caused the drum release solenoid not to operate (pinched wire of the feed clutch).

        Good Luck
