    duplicator opinions solicited--two questions

Hello. I work for an office equip. dealership in PA. We're thinking about offering the Standard brand of digital duplicators. Does anyone have any comments or feedback on that being a good or bad idea?

Also, as far as digital duplicators go, which brand/model would you say is the best and worst ever?

    Thanks.

It really goes in series, some generations riso is best, some ricoh/standard, duplo always sucks. At this point i am a bigger fan of riso, they offer more products and ez series is great, not to mention the comcolor full color duplicator which is a huge hit with print shops, with standard you will have access to finishing products (binding machines, auto creasers etc.) so consider that as well, as for the equipment they are both pretty durable, you can't go wrong with either.

      Riso is my recommendation

I like my Riso's, they are built like Tanks and do very well once you learn how to clean and maintain them (something you will have to do with other brands also).... plus there are lots of parts available for them, just have a good look at eBay & the Web to see what I mean.

GR, but... Can't really get them anymore.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

RZ and EZ (practically the same machine) are running great for us. Trading in RN and RP's now for them.
