    Riso GR series skewing images

I have 2 Risos that are skewing the image. Vertical position is good, timing is good, but I can not figure out how to fix skewing. Models are Gr2710 and gr1750. I have loosened parallel adjustment collar and brought that down so both pieces of paper will feed without one pulling more than the other. Still there does not seem to be enough pressure on the timing roller to pull paper. As a result paper jams under timing roller.

    What am I doing wrong?

Check the load spring on the guide roller and the one-way spring. Also the guide plate that is over the timing roller maybe uneven or bent.

    Good luck.

Could the machine be loading the master a little crooked? If all is good with the paper feed and timing that is where I would look next.

Check the front and rear allen screw on the rubber timing roller assy in the 2nd paper feed area. Had a few of them break in half. You don't find it until trying to tighten/loosen.

Friend, the is an adjustment to ensure the correct pressure at the timing roller area. on the backside where the p disk is. the distance between the timing cam & the arm that rides on that cam is suppose to be min of 4 mm's. And there is a buckle adjustment that will most likely fix your problem. that adjustment is also at the p disk area. give me your e-mail if you need the info sent over
