[Error Code] RN 2000EP T23-111

Hi there,

Bought a new RN 2000EP in the box. followed the procedure of start up, including removing the image scanner screw and blocking the whole with the supplied sticker. However, when i try to switch on(while pressing the 2 arrow keys of printing positioning) it says: "error T23-111 image scanner is locked!! unlock it" Any idea?

Enter test mode 155, scanner release action. The scanner was locked in TM 154, scanner lock action, prior to shipping.

Thank u for a quick reply.
Manual says entering test mode is done by pressing both arrow keys of image positioning func. while switching on the machine. I do that and i get the error code. It doesnt let me go further then that.

push reset key...that should clear the code and allow you to enter the test mode.

I try to reset: either pressing reset at the same time with main switch, or pressing it after the machine is on but no go, can not get past the error message that seems to block everythig else.

Your model is a 300 dpi machine and enters test mode by pressing "master/print" key and "text/photo" key while turning on the machine. Not by left and right arrow keys. That should get you into test mode to run 155 to unlock the scanner.
