Riso gr 3750, recurring paper jam after drum switch

    Greetings! I'm using a Riso gr3750.

Following a drum change, (from a frequently-used drum to a not-so-frequently used drum), there is a recurring paper jam at the exit of the machine. The pages are usually impaled by an orange, claw-like apparatus in the center of a rod just to the right of the drum. It seems that this is also causing the pages to jam in the drum well, getting ink on the inside of the machine. I switched drums back to the original "frequently-used" drum and the problem persisted. (I also used a third drum with same result)
The print on the botched pages is also mis-positioned by nearly an inch from the top.
After switching drums several times, the drum started to hit a small lever on the bottom right-hand side on the front, preventing the drum from going in. Another thread suggested an issue with the "pressure roller", but this seems to be working fine.
I am a novice to this machine, but if you're in the mood to be thorough, I'm all ears.

Sounds like the timing is out. Does that sound like something you could do or not.

Exactly the issue. Went the high road and called a tech, but he fixed it in 10 minutes and showed me how to adjust the timing should it be an issue in the future. Nice Guy.

      Thanks.
