First problem is with a Savin 3360. When making masters to print 11x17 prints, most of the time the trail edge of the master flips in on itself tucking the trail edge of the master under itself leaving that area of screen not covered. The result is a large black bar at the trail edge of the prints. I stopped the machine in the process of making a master and it seems to me that something in the plotter is causing the problem.
Second machine is a 3850. This machine has been worked on by other people and I'm not sure what they have done with it. The problem now is that the lead edge registration is late by around 30mm. This is also causing paper jams. I've tried making adjustments in service program mode but I can only get it to improve slightly. All the mechanical adjustments that I could find in the manual seem to be correct pertaining to registration.
