Possible to swap parts between a GR 3750 and GR 3770?

So I went ahead and bought a GR3770, a little worn (5 million copies) and not quite working properly (paper constantly gets jammed, I think the drum is mis-timed). I currently own a GR3750 that works absolutely perfectly (800,000 copies).

Would it be possible to basically overhaul the entire GR3770 with GR3750 parts? Not the pcb or scanner, but all the mechanical stuff. All I really want is to keep its 600dpi resolution. Anyone with thoughts as to whether this is doable, or even worth it?

i think it would be fine, but please make sure the scanner and pcb be the the one with 600dpi
