    New GR3750

    Hi,

I just purchased a GR3750, and I'm looking to start using it for some experimental publishing. I might buy some color drums that are currently with a GR3770, and I wanted to double check they would be compatible with my machine. I assume so, since the drum I have just says it is a GR drum, not a GR3750.

Also, I'd like to hook it up to my computer, can anyone point me in the right direction of where I could buy the necessary peripheral interfaces and such?

    Thanks very much

    Daniel

Hey Daniel, colour drums are compatible across the 3750 & 3770, but the black drum is not. You should look for a SC7700 rip and also there is a riso-specific cable you'll need to set it up with yr computer. Sometimes these things come up on Ebay... good luck

I have some new GR color drums, still in boxes, never inked, available for sale if you are interested. I may have a used SC7700 as well. To print to your RISO GR 3750, you must have the print kit installed on the RISO- look in the back of the machine for a 37 pin connector, this is what the controller will connect to. If you do not have the print kit, I do have one for sale.
