I inherited a GR3770 that first had a T1 Error, the drum cog wasn't aligned to allow the drum connect all the way in. I took the back panel off and rotated the main belt just enough to get the cog vertical to allow the drum to connect all the way in. That fixed that problem -- the light is now on when drum is inserted, and the drum connects all the way in. It will still make a master OK, however, everything else is now out of timing. No errors show up, but it is having serious issues. Did I totally eff it up? Is there any way to recalibrate all the settings -- paper feed, printing, etc.? Are there technical manuals available? I apologize for poor terminology, and generally not knowing what I'm doing. This is my first Riso/Duplicator. It's not a huge investment or anything, but I thought it would be nice to at least attempt to fix it. thank you in advance for any tips you might have.

Re: RISO GR3770 Completely Out of Sync -- help.
First of all, for what it is worth, I don't think you made anything worse by manually aligning the drum cog. It sounds like the machine was out of time when you got it, the timing belt you saw when you had the back off has probably just skipped a tooth or two. If you upload a decent enough quality picture of the back of the machine with the cover off, I'd bet someone around here could help you out with that.
As far as manuals go, Just Manuals, The Internet's largest selection of manuals ~ Instant Downloads has a pretty extensive listing, so you might check there. I'm pretty sure I saw GR manuals when I checked out his site earlier. -

This problem has been disscussed on another thread http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/di...feed-area.html
see if this helps and get a manual like suggested by Iowatech. Good luck.Comment
