I have a Gr3770 machine and I cant get the drum to go into the machine. it goes almost in but the handle that hooks it in place cannot hook, how do i make this happen? It gives me an error code of T14 call service. please help me.

Drum it keyed, back wall of machine has the chuck. Little opening on drum should be at 12, larger opening at 6 o'clock. Only when in this position will/should drum go in or out of machine.

Normally this doesn't happen unless the person using the machine does something they shouldn't have done, so you might want to check the drum drive for excessive play after you get the drum back in. The coupling between the drum and the machine does wear after a while, and I've even seen the pin that holds the machine side coupling to its drive shaft break.
This might be a long shot, but you might want to check the three drum support rollers on the front of the drum frame and see if the rubber part of the rollers are still attached. If the drum to machine coupling is in good shape, it is kind of a precision fit, and if the rollers are bad the drum will be out of alignment making the drum hard to put back in.Comment
