    How to find the IP address? RP 3700

    Hello,

    I am trying to network my RP 3700 to my PC running Windows XP. I've download the drivers from RISO's website and I am trying to install the printer via the instructions on: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7145725/rp_manual_en_200.pdf but I can't seem to locate the printers IP address needed to setup the proper ICP/IP port. Not sure if my printer already has an IP address or if I need to assign it an IP. Any thoughts are appreciated.

      I don't work on RISO's , but , try printing a Network or Service Status sheet ( if these printers have that capability ) and possibly the IP will be listed. If you can print a Menu Map, it may be there as well .

          Thanks HenryT2. I know there is spec sheet you can print when using a RIP, I'm still trying to find out how to do one if I'm printing through a network from my computer. I'm gonna try and run the printer through a router and assign it an IP using DHCP. I'll definitely hit up those other forums too.

              Looks like the only way to assign my RP3700 an IP address is with the RISO Utility Software CD...which I don't have. Does anyone know where one might acquire the software either via download or purchase the CD?

                      Found it! It was on http://download.riso.com/ under the embedded controllers drivers. When it asked for the model I was only looking under RP 3700 but once I further researched the options there was an option called "net card" which is the download for the RISORINC software. Gonna test it out tonight.
