D02-532 Wrong type print cylinder installed

So I have been fighting this one for a while. I have a riso RZ220UI , i bought 2 cylinder drum type RZ legal (red and Green) and no matter what drum I install in it I cannot get it to work. I always get the message D02-532 Wrong type print cylinder installed on the screen.

Are there any code or reset that i could fix this problem?

Any ideas?

You need to reprogram the drums. Is this happening on the color or black too?
Run TM 117 & 890. Unless someone screwed ya and the drums are EZ 220, then you are SOL.

this is only happening to the colors, the black works just fine.
I doubt its the wrong drums because on the drums there is a sticker sayin RZ......Legal...
The size is exact, etc.
Im not sure whats going on.
Is there any way I can find out for sure that this is the correct model for my printer?
Maybe a serial number corresponding with each model.

And therein lies the rub. The drums are probably not physically wrong, but the drum's internal circuitry tells the machine they are. Maybe they originally were set to a different color. Or maybe they are actually letter sized drums rather than legal. I don't know either way, although I'd try to change the settings next using what jermyth said.
Hopefully, you didn't get EZ drums with wrong stickers. There's a kit to convert RZ drums to work in the EZ machines, but as far as I know there is nothing available to go the other way.
Still, if it was legal I'd bet you a cup of coffee that when you get the proper color setting programmed into the drums, you'll be good to go.

None of those codes are working.
Some codes the machine identifies, but does not correct the error.
Any other ideas?

If you are entering the service mode and running 117 & 890 and the machine is still erroring out, then the drums are EZ or has drum board issues.

One last thing, I noticed the master size is different then the one I currently use. The black I use is Legal 8.5x14 and the one on the red and green drums I bought look to be 11x17, might that have anything to do with the fact that after trying all these reset codes Im still getting the error message?
If so, may you please advice me on how I can change it?

BIG difference! Your color drums are for RZ 390/590 machine. There is NO way to get them to work in a 220. Sorry.
