    [Error Code] Rioch HQ9000 - SC670 and SC819

    Hello to everyone.
Can anybody please help me with a problem... I have a Rioch HQ9000 showing error code SC670 (loos connection between the ACU and ECU bords) and after a few minutes shows code SC819 (kernell error)
Once the machine shows SC819 I cannot go in service mode. In the meantime while it shows SC670 I can enter service mode but it will only let me open the "Copy" service mode and I can only see Class 1. None of the other classes are shown. Only this class is shown even if I go to factory mode... This way I can not update any firmware of course because all of the firmware updates are done from class 8 (SP8-02-xxx)

    Tryed so far:
    - replaced the printer control board (the one with the network slot on it and in which you can insert the SD card) with one from a HQ7000 because I have one HQ7000 for spares, but it still shows SC670 and service mode is the same
    - replaced only the memory on the original printer board as maybe the 2 of them are not compatible, but still no luck
    - mesured and replaced all connections on the mainboard (the one in which the printer control board gets connected)

What I have seen so far is that the serial number from ECU is not recognised by the machine in SP-01-021-02 - Machine information rom version - all other features can be spoted (language, control panel, etc.) as a number but for the ECU is just "---------".

    Any help will be apreciated.

    Thanks alot!

I would start with Replacing the ECU the SC-670 is because of the missing Serial Number which needs re inputting in a SP that you cant get to.

SC819 occurs when the ECU Firmware as been upgraded whilst a USB cable is plugged into the machine and it damages the PCB RTB No6.
