drum not fitting in my riso RP 3700 (bent part)

Hello everyone, I've got a problem with one of my print drums (riso RP 3700)
There is a bent part that seems to get on the way and therefore I can't fit it in my machine.
(See the photos attached)
Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this?
I'm thinking of opening the drum and trying to bend it back using pliers.
Do you think it could work ?
I'm scared to dive into it but it seems that it's time to get virile.
Some advice from someone who has experience would be much appreciated.
