Riso EZ 221 P-93-3 error question

It is my understanding that this error code indicates when the Ethernet card (CNET-C) is accessed during initialization the network controller board doesn't respond. I am assuming it is a hardware failure, but my main question is which board is at fault here?

I have been all over Riso's website (I am an authorized Riso tech) and can't find squat regarding this type issue ... except for the vauge description in the service manual. Anyone have any experience with this code or can steer me in the right direction?

p93-033: "No response from NET-D for 90 seconds during NET-D initialization"

Problem is with your ethernet card!

Humph, I guess that one was too tough for this crew. Well, I went to the account and simply updated the firmware on both boards and that resolved the issue.

Glad to see you got it fixed quickly. I don't see that exact code in the manual, just the prefix t93, with 932 for that model.
I'm going to assume you installed the network card & pc interface card at setup and they worked fine then. Then one of the first things RISO support asks is the firmware most current. RISO doesn't explain all the updates done in the firmware upgrades. Well anyhow you got it fixed and you posted what the fix is for everyone else, I thank you.
