    Error d22-540 // d04-534

I was just cleaning a drum with alcohol and after I tried to runup the drum I received this error. It is a drum release issue. However prior to this error I receive the incorrect ink cartridge error. Once I run through the steps to recolor a drum, I receive the release error.

Prior to the cleaning the drum was working fine...

    any suggestions?

    Best,

    PJ

I assume you have EZ machine!

D22-540: no access to drum PCB.
    D04-543: incorrect cartridge

Look at the drum PCB (inside the drum) maybe you forget to put it back probably. Or maybe it's damaged while you were cleaning the drum with alcohol.

edit: please let us know how you figured it out. It could be helpful for other members one day

Test Mode Code: 885 - Released the Cylinder from the machine. Once out, we were able to let the solvent dry out more. Once the cylinder went back in there were no more errors and it printed great!

Many thanks to justmanuals.com for providing the technical guide at a minuscule fraction of the cost of getting a technician to repair the machine. It's definitely worth the $13 bucks for the manual.
