    [Misc] Non-HD Master for GR-3770

    Hello,

    Just a quick question:

Is it possible to use the Master S-2817 or S-825 in a GR-3770 machine?
Will it just mean a loss in quality or can it produce any damage?

I know that there are special HD Masters for the 3770. But we have some leftover Master rolls we don't want to throw away if possible.

    Thanks for your help!

I personally wouldn't try that. The master material is different because of the 3770's higher DPI count.
Then again, I've didn't have the guts to try the wrong master material when the GR line wasn't obsolete because the thermal head was quite possibly the most expensive part on those machines. So I don't know what would happen.
