Hey There,

I just bought a RZ drum for a EZ200 (stupid like I am),...
is there way to convert/turn a RZ drum to a EZ drum?

Well I can only speak for the US versions but here is what I know:
RZ 590 & 390 Compatible
MZ 790, 990 & RZ 990 Compatible
RZ 1090 & MZ 1090 Compatible
EZ 590, 591, 390 & 391 Compatible
RZ drums are not compatible with EZ, but can be converted EZ. Special kit required.
MZ 790 can be converted to MZ 1090. Special kit required.

Pulled this from another thread, I guess you need a special kit to convert the drum. Probably a job for a tech.

I am thinking it would be hardware... but tbh I've never seen one, so I couldn't say. You definitely won't find this second hand, so best bet would be to contact Riso directly.

Yes, all hardware. But you may not be able to get one from RISO. Instructions "Nobody but Riso-authorized service representatives is allowed to install this unit."
You might be able to get your local Riso dealer to get one for you.

The last time we ordered the kit it took 3 months to come in from Riso (Japan probably) and they told us they had very few left. That was 4 years ago...

They are still available, just did one myself, due to a previous dealer left a customer with this problem, they tried to just swapped drum and it didn't work. I ordered the kit from Riso boston. And took some days to come. And problem solved.
