Just got a Riso RP3790 and I have noticed whenever I run lots of copies, there are smears on the edges of the paper of different color ink. I was printing teal and whenever they would come out of the tray on the left edge of the paper there was a red smear. Do I need to clean something to get this fixed or what do y'all think the problem is here?

Without seeing the prints, I'll stab in the dark with impression roller has ink on it. Second stab, timing roller. Suggestion, pull out the drum and look where the ink smudges and paper match up inside the machine.

Next time I run a stack, I'll upload picture. Typically its on the left side edge of the paper, also it's coloring the actual edge of the paper. If you run 500 copies you look at the stack laying flat on the desk from the side, it looks like someone took markers up and down the edge of the stack. I have a suspicion that I ran copies too soon after I printed them for their second side. We do lots of double sided copiesComment
