Riso RP3700 not starting at all.

    Hi.

It started with the risograph taking a long time to start. After switching the power butting it took 10min for it to start. Then it took 20, then it took 60 min. Then it started after a full day.
Now it won't start at all. I have tried changing the fuses even though I don't think thats the problem.

Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

If you haven't tried the standard Riso reset, you should try that now. There are many threads about how to do that here.
If you have tried that, sorry for wasting your time.

Sounds like a bad power supply assembly to me.

Does that mean changing the hole power supply assembly or is it possible it can be fixed?

          Thanks!

Whole thing. I don't usually do component level repairs.

              Hi There,

I'm experiencing the exact same issue, I've tried changing the power assembly with no luck. Just wondering if you manged to resolve this issue.

this thread is dead by six years...

people don't always come back and let us know the disposition of their problem

I might be better if you start your own thread listing all codes... page counts.. what you have tried on it...

I had a similar issue that turned out to be a ground wire that over time disconnected from one end. If you are still having the issue and have tried all else start looking for little green wires that are only attached on one side. get-vidmate.com instasave.onl

I am trying to help resurrect an old RP3700. Intend to slave a laptop running Win2k with a parallel port to it for one-off jobs.
Does anyone have info on how to locate and find the drivers/software needed to operate?
Alternatively if the device can be configured to receive print jobs over network I can work on getting it connected to ethernet.
Thank you for any and all help!
