how to change Riso EZA 370a crimson red drum to bright red (code do4-534)

Does anyone know how to change a Crimson red ink drum to bright red on a Riso EZ370. I have the crimson red drum & purchased some bright red ink & when insert new tubes code do4-534 comes up. Put the crimson ink tube back in and all is ok. Is there a fix for this or is it Riso's way of making us purchase a drum for each specific colour. The tubes have chips on them.

Is this just a one time need or permanent color change? If its permanent you can go into test mode and reprogram the color for the drum, but the drum still will have bright red ink in it until you get it flush out with the new color.

Yes it is permanent prefer bright red to crimson. Do you know the reprogram codes? Thanks
