RP 3700 prints first few copies normally but following copies the print blurs and text fills in at the top of page where the heading is in 18 pt bold. This problem is resolved by making another plate but with the image turned head to toe so the heavier text prints out at the bottom of page when viewed on the delivery tray. Could this be caused by the pressure roller? Riso has 400k copies and the roller looks o.k. If that could not be the cause, what other areas should I be looking at. BTW, I am using genuine Riso ink.

I have attached scans of the blurry one along with the better one made with the document turned head to toe. Unfortunately the really blurry copies had been thrown away,

I just took a look at the picture you shared in your initial post. The lower part has some smudging that appears to have nothing to do with the image you are trying to print. Does that appear on everything you try to print?Comment
