From LI to the Carolinas huh, thats quite the culture shift, you'll need to slow down your "NY minute". I was based in Holbrook for 7 years, off Vets Hwy. Had a tech move to Rocky Mount, NC. Came back a year later, just could not take the culture change. I personally like North and South Carolina and have been there often both for business and pleasure, but ended up moving the company to CT. For me the Carolinas are more a fun place to visit than to live, but thats just me. Best of luck to you

I live in the middle of the Pineland Republic. What you make depends on where you live. Probably less than NY, but it cost less to live here. Hope you do not like snow. Only about 8 weeks of real cold weather.
