    MFCJ6710DW

    I have the 6710 printer but somehow it has the firmware of the 6510 installed on it. How could this have happened and how do I fix it?

    Any help would be appreciated.

      You need to reload the firmware using the raw firmware file from brother and the overwrite firmware procedure. You could try verifying the country code and restoring factory defaults in maintenance mode but from experience a full firmware rewrite is needed.
