Brother DCP 8060 Won't scan from ADF only from glass

I am testing it in both win7 and win10 with the same results
the machine copies fine and prints fine, even copies fine from ADF
but in scan mode won't activate the feeding from ADF and scans only from glass.

Some other observation I have made is that if papers are left in ADF when you turn it off and on
the documents are fed inmediatly (without waiting for warming up) no scan or copy is made in this
situation.

Strange.

I think it has something to do with the application. Use for testing the microsoft office document imaging application and have a look for scanner settings. I would perfer the TWAIN of the dcp.
I recommend to use the Full Driver & Software Package ---> Downloads | DCP-8060 | United States | Brother
and would use the scanner button on the machine.

There is a setting for the scanner(on your settings on your computer) to work when feeding thru feeder, and it will only scan when you tell it to scan from computer, it will multiple scan from feeder.
