this is a Brothers unit...on/off switch does not work...turns on when you plug it in, turns off when you unplug it...we get nothing on the touch screen...you can hear the fan running...we are ordering the ops panel and main PCB...would anyone care to comment on our problem?...thanks...

has anyone been in it yet? ( worked on it) sounds like either the power switch
there are no vertical black bars on the screen?
have you tried hooking it up to a PC via USB? Does the computer detect the printer? if it does re-install firmware ... if not then it is the MAIN PCB
you will need to install the Brother Maintenance USB Printer Driver to install firmware.
