    Brother mfc 9130 cw with error message print unable 02

    Hi Guys, I have run into the other Brothers, like the DCP 9045 CDN with the service 32, and the Brother MFP 9840 CDW with the "unable print 2A for the for sticking shutter.

    does anyone have any input on the cause of this error? and if its the belt solenoid shutter, where I might find it hiding please??

      The info I received said that the main drive motor, harness our main board were suspect.I removed fuser and lubed bushings, removed cleaning unit to free it up a bit.pulled she cover svc motor didn't turn.I manually turn it and no binding felt reseated motor harness at main board.the motor isn't attached separately, so I suspect ours part of main drive unit.gonna sell customer a new same model so they can use existing supplies. Good customer. So, unless anyone has any suggestions, that is what I will do.

          did you make sure none of the supplies are binding?

          Print Unable 02
          Turn the power off and then back on again.
          Step Cause Remedy
          1 Main motor harness connection
          failure
          Check the main motor harness connection
          and reconnect it.
          2 Harness connection failure
          between the low-voltage power
          supply PCB and main PCB
          Check the harness connection between
          the low-voltage power supply PCB and
          main PCB, and reconnect it.
          3 Main motor failure Replace the process drive unit.
          4 Low-voltage power supply PCB
          failure
          Replace the low-voltage power supply
          PCB ASSY.
          5 Main PCB failure Replace the main PCB ASSY.
