brother mfc4750e offline

just cleaned machine due to customer using can air. Now after a while machine say offline. They don't print to machine just faxing. Any ideas thanks

i think i have seen them say "off line" but as soon as a fax comes in, it starts fine. have you tested this??

Its receives the fax but just in memory and not print out till you unplug and plug in to reset. Im going to try a factory reset today and hope all is well.

Ok. where and how am I going to load the firmware. I have only updated copiers for firmware.

go to the Brother USA website. Very easy to find and update

i also used to have issues with the ? MFP line and it would only give a error message. cant remember now. but i would go into service mode and clear out ? stored documents or something and that would do it. sorry, wish i could remember. it was alike a locked up memory. let us know what resolves the issue.
