MFC-L8900C no power

We have an 8900 that wont power up no led on screen we have replaced the low power supply unit as it was outputting 6.2v
also tried plugging in with power button held down 3 times as in others posts
are we looking at a main board or any other advise please.

Replace main board had few of them dead and it's always the same.

i had a similar problem last week...8900 was dead,i think only green led lit,so i replaced power supply from another printer and the printer starts up, but the funny thing was when i put original power supply to the printer wich i took it out, printer normaly starts.

we have now got the main board and i have looked in the manuale to fit it my question is do i need to do everything it states in the manuale ior are there any short cuts it seems a lot to do .

It's painfully slow to do all of that but I do it no matter.
I know a lot of techs just swap the board and call it a day 😁
