Brother HL3140 one color misaligned by 3mm

Hello,
I have a Brother HL3140CW in wich the yellow color prints shifted 3mm to the right.
The auto alignment fails to complette and the manual alignment procedure is not enough to correct 3mm.
Mechanically everything seems to be ok.
Already tried to swap the magenta and yellow units and then the misaligned color is the magenta. This indicates the problem is not with the yellow color unit but something in the printer.

Any idea on what else to check?

Change the consumables for originals and perform calibration and color registration.
