Brother printers / faxes

I was told by a Remanufacturer that Brother uses the same toner / drums in all their printers, the difference being the cartridge they're in and I've found that to be true as far as the toner is concerned and use a generic refill for my printers and a few friends that have them --- does anyone know where I can get replacement drums for these ??? the wholesaler I talked to many moons ago offered them to me for 4 dollars a piece, but I had to order them in lots of 100 !! ....... of course, I no longer remember who the supplier was !!
