Brother HL5250DN paper out light although it has paper

Went to machine cleaned it very well. did not have any feed issues. Customer says its doing it again, Quits running during a 50 page run and thinks it needs paper.
I went back, had them run same print job, ran just fine. customer says sometimes theres paper inside machine, usually not? Any one had a sensor issue with this type of machine?
since I cant get it to do it when im there, Im at a loss. Any suggestions?
print total is 57,060
fuser laser and pf kit all at 42.9% of life

This machine has an explicit paper end sensor. I barely recall we had this issue twice, we've changed this little sensor PCB and the actuators what solved the problem in one case. In another case the problem reoccured until we swapped the paper tray.

I'm not shure if the machine does detect "paper end" after misfeeds as well, you might try forcing a misfeed and checking the display/lights if it's showing jam OR paper end. In this case you might just go on with a paper feeding roller/pad kit.
