Check all your connectors. Turn the machine off and unplug it. Make sure it’s not plugged into a power strip. Let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes unplugged then plug it back in and try again. If that fails then most likely you will be finding yourself or calling a service provider to have the laser scanner assembly replaced.

1 -Laser unit harness connection – Check the two harness connections of the laser unit and reconnect them.
2 -Laser unit failure – Replace the laser unit.
3 -Engine PCB failure – Replace the engine PCB ASSY.

In my experience you are better off throwing the machine away. I tried fixing two of these one would work for a week or two and then the customer would bring it back. The other I ordered all the parts on the service updates after talking to tech support and never got rid of the error.

I usually find it is the pad on the solenoid on the HVPS behind the fuser assy that causes error 32 on this model. Remove the pad or replace the solenoid to repair as it causes the CPR sensor cover to get stuck open.

Check/replace the waste toner unit. A broken gear would cause this error message.
