Brohter MFC8480dn Turns ON and OFF repeteadly by itself

Brother MFC8480DN Scanner went only half way and printed garble signs, I did a "reset to factory" option at user menu and now the machine says warming up but stops in the middle of "warming" and turns off and goes ON again, this over and over with an annoying beep in between, I downloaded the firmware LZ2726_S_DJF.ZIP but when decompressed it only shows a blank file which is useless by itself...any ideas on this problem? Thanks...!

P.S. I'm a copier tech, mostly working on bigger machines

I would suspect Power Supply PCB is dropping out under load during warm up as more actions are initiated.

If you have any other Brother machines quite a few PSU's are the same.

I have had a couple of Brother PSU failures in the past.
