hello ...l have printer canon LBP 2900 so if l connected there for my computer by cable usb ...my computer not red this printer ...l changing the cable usb but nothing ...others l have my personal printer office ..it is LBP 2900 too ..l change the usb card ..and this this lbp 2900 started there ..my question is ..it have any new update for this usb card ? ..ah l forget ..l have the service manuals for this LBP 2900 ....so l need found my problems in this service manuals ...

Unplug the printer.
Open Printers and Faxes.
Delete the print driver.
Go File-> Server Properties.
Under the Ports tab look for the USB port and delete it.
Reboot your computer.
Insert the CD that came with the printer and reinstall the driver and don't plug in the printer until it asks you to.
You can sometimes get away with installing USB printers by plugging them in and following the Windows add printer wizard, but if that doesn't work then you have to delete the USB port and use the install CD that came with your printer. Sometimes plugging it into a different USB port will "refresh" the USB connection so to speak. But if none of that works then I'd throw it away or buy a manual and hope there is a reset that works.
