Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE UFRII Mac driver

    Hi All,

Was just seeing if anyone has had any problems when connecting a mac to an imageRUNNER ADVANCE machine using the UFRII driver.

Any feedback would be very grateful.

    Thanks

what MAC operating system are you working with. We have loaded it on 10.6 at several locations and it has worked well. installation went very smooth in my opinion.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

I recently did an install where they had every incarnation of MAC OS X , and all went well. No problems.

If it's a Macintosh OSX 10.6.x over USB port
Download the latest version of the UFR II Printer Driver
Once the file completes the download and the file is expanded, and open the folder. If the file does not un-compress, then a Macintosh un-compression application will be needed to un-compress the file. Double click the UFR II Installer icon.
        Click Continue>Continue>Continue>Click Agree.
Click Install> if u see a log in screen/ Log In
When the installation completes click on Close and connect the USB Cable between the printer and the Macintosh computer
Click on the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen and click on System Preferences
        Click on Print & Fax
Click the + icon to add a printer
        Click on Default
The USB Cable must be connected at this time between the printer and the Macintosh Computer for the USB option to be listed. Select the Printer Name with the USB description on the Kind column.
Confirm that the Print Using field has the correct printer model
        Click the Add button.
Select your finishing option and click Continue to complete driver install.
