I have LJ 9000 that when goes to a paper jam and you clear all the paper out of it the print goes to ( processing) and stays there and will not continue back to printing. Im not sure how long the printer stays in the jam state before it cleared. The customer says that he has to restart the print job over and turn the printer off and on to reset. I have reseated the network card and formatter and checked the cables on the DC controller. Any ideas on what might be the problem Thanks

Which nic is it? The t615's could cause such a fault. The greatest enemy of knowledge isn't ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge. Stephen Hawking -
Re: HP LJ 9000
printer lost communication with pc and hangs. As with all hp, update firmware FIRST THING a must, then replace parts. yes as previously mentioned, the 615 nic casues all kind of problems. If You can upgrade to a 620 that would be better.
remove nic cable and do copies. deliberately create a jam and see if it recovers. do this two or three time to be sureTHE ONLY THING FOR EVIL TO TRIUMPH IS FOR GOOD MEN TO DO NOTHING..........edmund burkeComment
