    HP 3800N Printing header everytime.

I have an office with about 8 HP 3800N printers networked without a server. One computer station when printing to a specific printer prints every page with the header on the right side saying Dermapath Diagnostics. It doesn't do it with any other printer, and every other work station doesn't do it to this printer. Only the one station to the one printer. I've tried a cold reset, reinstallation and get the same result. Only this one computer prints to this specific printer and gets that header even on just a test page print from the workstation. If I print a test page from the printer it doesn't do it. It also does not matter what program that workstation prints from. It's always there.
I printed all the configuration pages from the printer and that name isn't anywhere on the printouts. Where is it coming from? If you check print preview before printing, it's not on the scree, yet prints every time.
I'm baffled. Anyone ever heard of this.

I'd bet there is separate instances of the driver for that model of printer on the problem computer, so check that. The problem almost certainly is driver related.

Try going in and actually deleting the drivers. Don't just uninstall reinstall. I don't remember the process, but there's a way to do it.

Has the problem PC been connected to the shared printer on a totally different PC ?
Find out if this shared printer on the other PC has been configured for header settings.

Try deleting the print spooler files on the problem PC. You may have a corrupt spool file.

How do we delete the drivers? I agree it's driver related. What's weird is that it prints to all the other printers with out that header. It has to be the individual computer driver installed. When I reinstall, it installs the same corrupt driver.

They are not shared. It is simply installed by IP address on each work station. The driver on the workstation is the only unique thing to this problem. Why it doesn't do it printing to the other printers must be because they have a different loaded driver.

It's not special pre-printed paper loaded into the tray is it ?
              Just checking...
I have been caught with perforated paper , it looks like a line on the print in office soft lighting.

No. But thanks for the heads up. It has to be the individual driver on that computer that is running that particular printer.

Different ways for different OS's. Just google "how to delete printer drivers in windows XXX"
