So here is what i discovered so far. In the sensor test mode, the printer prints without jamming. As soon as i exit the troubleshooting menu, it jams on every print. I am at total loss. Please let me know what you guys think.Comment

Re: hp laserjet cm6030 transfer are jam
I repaired one of these a couple of months ago. did not have jams, but finisher wheel fallen off and had to bend, drill ect. to get it up and running. had a thin line of smudging and using the test modes soon found the transfer belt cleaning blade needed just that, cleaning.
Excellent colour quality from this machine.
This machine has comprehensive troubleshooting diagnostics, that can help in isolating problems.
Does it only jam when printing from the computer ?. print the configuration pages for the machine and see if it jams then. It does not bend the paper in test mode, does it. you can program it to stop at certain points to see where the bend in the paper may be originating.
check your paper settings in your print driver, check the paper type is correct.
PAGE 596 of the service manual.
Print/stop test
Use this diagnostic test to isolate the cause of problems such as image-formation defects and jams
within the engine. During this test you can stop the paper anywhere along the printer-paper path. The
test can be programmed to stop printing internal pages or an external print job when the paper reaches
a certain position. The test can also be programmed to stop from 0 to 60,000 milliseconds. If the timer
is set to a value that is greater than the job-print time, you can recover the printer in one of two ways.
1. Touch Administration.
2. Scroll to and touch Troubleshooting.
3. Scroll to and touch Print/Stop Test.
4. Select the appropriate number of milliseconds and then touch OK.THE ONLY THING FOR EVIL TO TRIUMPH IS FOR GOOD MEN TO DO NOTHING..........edmund burkeComment
