    HP 2600 magenta issue

This one belongs to a colleague and I don't want to spend alot of time on it.

When printing a configuration page, you can see the magenta bar on the bottom is light primarily on the left and some on the right.

Only thing I tried is a new oem toner. Same result.

I am thinking dirty laser but wanted to see if there were any other common issues

the exhaust fan is at the bottom on that side it craps up the mirrors in the laser unit. A little time consuming, but an easy repair take off the back drop the laser unit wipe off the mirrors(do them all) and reassemble GOOD LUCK

Magenta mirror sits right at the bottom by that fan, where you get the light area. Several places where you can get instructions on how to if you have never repaired that before. Good Luck.
