I see you are a technician. yes ?. Not sure how much experience you have, but if you look at any HP laserjet service manual, it gives a pretty good description on how the paper pickup, feed and separation function work. Because in this case, it should be obvious to replace the tray2 separation pad which is located on tray2.
Too simple to say, you cleaned roller [ did not replace anything ]and then what?, oh copytechnet has the answer.

    tray2 separation pad -----------RM1-1292-000CN

    pickup roller -----------RL1-0540-000CN

I see lots of guys want help here and they provide very little info on what they done and then you have to either use your imagination or prod to get futher information from them. that's not good. i am getting tired of this and think would just be a viewer now and less interactive. not that i provide the greatest of help and solutions, but the same thing over and over i think i am getting like fixthecopier and developing short attention disorder . i think that is what it is called.

well his post he did not even take the time to check the format of his question. just throw it out there, those guy will figure it out.

Did you meant to say double feed? Which tray is having the problem, adf, tray 1 or tray 2? Could be sep pad or paper pickup solenoid.

well, on checking i see his location is in greece and his mother tongue is most likely not english, but there are online dictionary and translation tools free that can be done quickly. In using this forum, i think my spelling has improve quite a bit. e.g i was spelling transalation wrong and i just did a quick check and whala, two seconds got the right spelling.
On another note too, i think in north america, high speed internet is relatively cheap and most have it, in other countries, tech may be no so fortunate and may be on bandwidth constriction and also download limitations and therefore cost. I know that in the back of my mind, but when i can download a 40mb file in less that three minutes, i forget to think everyone does not have that luxury and therefore cannot download manuals to check for answers, parts. ect and that's where ctn can be a great help. I feel relieved now after this. does anyone read these, what would you call this a rant or just a rattle of nerves with drinking too much coffee.

These guys ask for help, you give them suggestions, they take it and leave. No replies, post results or even a thanks! Have to weed out these guys/gals when asking for help.
