HP laser jet enterprise flow MFP M830 fuser reset fuse/ crum or reset routine needed

Hi guys, this unit has a window to reset the adf maintenance kit, but nothing shown for the fuser. the fuser life is near end. i am being told that this fuser has a fuse that will reset the counter in the machine. there is also a vendor that sells a what is being described as a reset board. is the reset for the fuser maintenance kit not visible in the LCD display because its life is not 100% used up, or is there any other way to reset it either prematurely or after the unit hits 100%? it seems strange and going back in time to have to install a new unit, or "reset board/ fuse? for this. like in the laser jet 4050 for example. the simple reset is if its used up. if not, we had to hold item and continue or ? and then manually re enter the 200,000. any help would be very much appreciated. Step 8 - Counter Reset

The maintenance counter is automatically reset by the fuser after 100 pages are printed.
The new fuser has a fusible link in it that opens after 100 pages are printed, once 100 pages are printed on the product, the link will open and reset the counter.
The maintenance counter can not be manually reset.

how strange. if HP for example wanted to continue a part under a maintenance agreement, they have to manually change a part. seems counter productive, except for the fact that they will undoubtedly sell more costly fusers.

In HP world the maint kit and or fuser are customer replaceable , if customer wants hp to replace under warranty or maint agreement they will be billed for labor and price of part.
