    P4015 transfer roller

Anyone using or been using the rm1-0699 (4250 transfer roller) in the P4015? We are seeing issues and some vendors tell us the roller no longer works in the P4015, some manufacturing change. Other vendors say they never heard of the problem.

Primarily we see washed out blacks on config pages. I plan on doing some more conclusive testing this week with different rollers and toners.

    Thanks

I've never used the 4250 roller in the P4015. I have used the P4015 roller in the M600 series.

Liberty said all they sold was the 4250 for the 4015 but stopped a while ago. Another smaller vendor doesn't even carry the 4015 version...

Your vendor is giving you BS! How can a roller no longer work due to manufacturing changes? Are the transfer rollers Genuine HP? I have seen generic rollers packed in packages that look like Genuine HP brand. These are counterfeit products since they are to deceive the consumer. Beware! These generic transfer roller can ruin the drum, have seen this before. Return these crap to the distributer since you are paying for OEM and not generic. Part number for LJ P4015/P4515 transfer roller is CB506-67903 and part number for LJ 4250/4350 transfer roller RM1-1110.
