Hp laserjet 5000 69 error. Duplex or duplexes not working

the duplexer will not work. It seems to be fitted correctly and the plugs and jacks seem to make contact. Any ideas?

Probably have to take that thing apart and figure out why the sides aren't adjusting correctly.

Ok. I haven't even dug into it yet. I'll keep you posted!! I will open her up today

Though, it does fault out immediately after boot.
