Hp laserjet 3380 displayed scanner bulb warming up,i have clean all the mirrors it still show the scanner bulb warming up,i changed the scanner unit it still display scanner warming up. I need help on this from any one who have had this problem and solve it.Thanks in advance.

I assume the scan lamp is lighting up correctly and not blown.
Did you clean the mirrors inside the scanner lamp housing ?

The HP3380 scanner is a trickly unit to get apart the first time you do it.

You said you changed the scanner. Did you change the old scanner for an entirely new scanner or from another 2nd hand machine?

If all the above is ok try a scanner calibration.
From memory(scratching head) try "Menu/enter" + "2" keys hold for 3 seconds then release. It should display "Second Service" on screen or thereabouts.
Use the keys "<" and ">" to navigate to scanner calibration screen, press enter.
