    hp laserjet 3380

    Hp laserjet displayed scanner bulb warming up i have clean the mirrors it still display scanner warming up need help.

    If you haven't tried already, turn the machine off and unplug it, and if the machine is connected to a computer or network disconnect that as well. Then leave the machine alone for a while, maybe 10 minutes or so. Then plug everything back in and see what happens.
    The reason for that is it sounds like there may have been a power surge there, and that can cause the machine to do all manner of wrong things. If nothing is actually broken, isolating the machine for a while usually fixes that.
    One other thing, if you haven't visited HP's website, you should do so and see if the firmware there is newer that the firmware that is currently installed on that machine. If it is, you should install the newer version. Just make sure to read the "Read Me" file if it is available first, as it contains very important information, especially at the end.

      Perhaps the fluorescent lamp is "tired" . Check if the scanning lamp has dark edges. The only solutions is to change the lamp wih another one from a small notebook
